Meeting schedule

We meet at 7PM at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at  2108 Grand Ave., in Vancouver, the third Wednesday in September - November 2007, and January -  April 2008.

Directions:

From Portland, go north across the I – 5 bridge, to the Fourth Plain Exit. Turn right, go to the third stoplight, at the Fred Meyer’s Store. Turn right, immediately before the Fred Meyer Store. This is Grand Ave. Go about 100 yards, and the  WDFW building is on the right, and park in lot.  Walk into the curved driveway, and go to the second door.

August 20th 2008

We will kick off our 2008 season on Wednesday August 20th , 7PM,  at the WDFW office 2108 Grand in Vancouver.

 

We will offer a program on hunting opportunities outside the Pacific Northwest.  Terry Cornelius will show a video and talk about hunting in North Dakota, where they are expecting the best season since 1946.  These are the good old days.

 

Also we will discuss opportunities in Montana and elsewhere for sharptails and gray partridge.

Reed Larson, DVM will be speaking on Hunting Dog Safety.  Field Injury First Aid, First Aid Kit Essentials, Training Hints.

November 19th 2008

Mark Hart, WDFW Wildlife Enforcement Officer will speak on his experiences as an officer as well as code enforcement activities by his department
